Professional roles and challenges

Your mandate within the company will consist of commissioning equipment, as well as programming robots and PLCs.

Detailed functions

  • Configure and program the products
    • Configure and commission products
    • Use advanced robot languages (Kuka, KRL)
    • Program PLCs and HMIs
    • Develop robotic programs
  • Solve technical problems
    • Answer customer calls when they have problems with the product sold
    • Travel to the site to solve the problem when necessary
    • Document the maintenance and all operations that have been done at the customer’s site (ticket moderator)
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for research and development
    • Participate in the design of new products
    • Carry out tests in collaboration with the engineers
    • Be able to report to the team when necessary
  • Integration and quality assurance of finished products
    • Ensure that the products work well
    • Assist the person in charge of installation when needed
    • Test products to ensure they meet expectations

Qualifications

  • Robotics or industrial electronics training or any other training deemed relevant
  • Industrial experience: more than one year
  • Skills in Kuka language (KRL) asset
  • Bilingual: French / English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel internationally (valid travel and vaccination passports)
