Your mandate within the company will consist of handling, receiving and shipping products. You will also have to plan the transportation.
Detailed functions
- Receiving parts and products
- Open the door for delivery people
- Unload pallets from trucks with the forklift
- Verify the quality of the parts received
- Return defective parts
- Enter the number of parts received in the ERP and indicate the condition if necessary
- Put away and file the parts in the right place when the order is checked
- Handle and prepare parts and products
- Read assembly drawings
- Gather the necessary parts for all the plans to be made daily
- Prepare parts by performing certain operations (tapping, drilling, deburring, gluing, etc.)
- Ensure the quality of the parts
- Put away parts and maintain order in the warehouse
- Use jib cranes and forklift when necessary.
- Scan parts in the ERP when assigned to handling
- Ship parts and products
- Pack parts and products
- Request quotes and schedule shipments for parts and products
- Prepare packing lists using ERP
- Ensure that you have the Bill of Lading (BOL)
- Use the forklift to load pallets onto the truck
- Ensure that the shipment arrives on time and without breakage
Qualifications
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset;
- Knowledge of ERP is an asset;
- Mastery of the Office suite.
